Domain Name Transfer: Individual Transfer Process

Overview

This guide explains how to transfer a single domain name to Method13 using the "Register" tab of our CRM platform. This method is ideal when users experience issues with bulk transfers or prefer to transfer domains one at a time.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access the "Register" Tab

  2. Search for Your Domain

    • In the search field, enter the domain name you wish to transfer (e.g., exampledomain.com).

    • Press the Search button to check the domain availability.

  3. Domain Unavailability

    • The system will state that the domain is unavailable because it is already registered.

    • A link will appear asking, "Is this your domain? Transfer it instead."

  4. Initiate the Transfer

    • Click on the link to start the domain transfer process.

    • A popup window will appear, requesting the EPP code (Transfer Code).

  5. Enter the EPP Code

    • Enter the correct EPP code for the domain in the provided field.

    • This method accepts individual EPP codes and does not follow the bulk transfer format.

  6. Submit the Transfer

    • After entering the EPP code, confirm the transfer.

    • The system will process the request, and you'll receive a confirmation message once it has been successfully submitted.

Additional Information

  • Domain Transfer Timelines: The transfer process typically takes 5-7 days, depending on the domain registrar.

  • Transfer Lock: Ensure the domain is unlocked for transfer at your current registrar and privacy settings are disabled, if applicable.

  • Transfer Code (EPP): If you do not have your EPP code, contact your current domain provider to retrieve it before proceeding.

If you encounter any issues, please contact Method13 Support at support@method13.com for assistance.
